In a previous post I wrote about my experience photographing people for the Science Museum’s Mind Matters exhibit. (You can find that post here.) Today I am writing about one of the people involved and my experience with him.
Nate was sweet, very smart, shy and a bit out of his comfort zone. Of course very few people are comfortable having their picture taken. But Nate did great! At the end of the shoot he asked for my business card. I think I won him over. Photographer 1; Apprehension 0. Nate wants to get a professional head shot done soon. While I don’t recall the actual thesis title/topic, he is presenting a dissertation on the topic of living as a transgender. I look forward to working with Nate again.
